Neurology is a branch of medicine specifically dealing with disorders of the nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. The nervous system controls important functions in the body such as consciousness, language, vision, movement, and the senses.

Neurology involves managing patients with a range of neurological conditions. Examples include migraine, headache, dizziness, seizures, stroke/TIA, tremors (e.g. Parkinson’s disease), neuropathy, and many other conditions.
